ABS shell, highly impact-resistant, even in extreme temperatures. High-density EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) liner, very lightweight, and with excellent shock absorption properties. The hundreds of half-circles embedded on the surface of the liner not only improve shock absorption but also allow excellent airflow when combined with front, rear, and central ventilation zones. Interior padding made of moisture-absorbing fabric, removable and washable. Microfiber retention harness with quick-release closure clip, 4-point rear fastening that contours the neck and comes with chin protection. Rear adjustment dial for a perfect fit. Wide, flexible visor. Weight: between 430 and 530g. CE certified helmet, CE VG1 01.040 2014-12 certified, compliant with regulation 2016/425/EU.
Equipped with the patented MIPS brain protection system. The MIPS system, "Multi-Directional Impact Protection System," integrated into this helmet, is the result of nearly 20 years of study and research. Its principle is simple: mimic and play the role of the cerebrospinal fluid in which our brain "floats." During an impact, the MIPS system will absorb the impact energy by allowing the skull to slide along the liner. Rotational forces will thus be better dissipated, and the brain will not impact the skull, providing better protection against oblique impacts.
