SHOWCRAFT GOLD WATERPROOF MID SEASON RUG
Shower proof ripstop 18.5oz (525gsm) canvas which is 48% combed cotton and 52% polyester. The ripstop weave has reinforced poly grids for extra fabric strength. BARTACK extra reinforced stitching to all pressure points. Completely hemmed and stitched along bottom length. Double waxed waterproofing treatment. PVC strap and 3 way chest fitting allows versatile fitment. Longer shoulder gussets and rump darts for extra freedom of movement. Chrome and zinc plated buckles and fittings. Nylon lined chest on rug. Removable leg straps. Fleece wither protector. Tail flap. Sewn in D rings for hood & neck rug connection. Snap connectors with adjusters on neck rugs/hoods. Polypropylene binding. Nylon lined mane strip on hoods & neck rugs.
The Showcraft Gold are sewn together using a quality waxed cotton thread. The rug must be hosed down before use so the waxed cotton thread will swell up and expand into all sewn areas making your rug waterproof. Hosing down the rug before use will also wash away any excess surface colour dye. Ensure rug is completely dry before storing it away. It is recommended to apply a canvas reproofing compound before the start of each new season.
