Product Overview
The standard length of pole – which comes as four component parts – is 2.4 metres; however, as the screw-together components are interchangeable, the pole can be lengthened, or shortened, as required in 600 mm increments. The pole is designed to breakaway at one of the junctions of a pole component body and its formed screw end so, if a mishap occurs, no injury should be caused to horse or rider. Of course, one or more of the screw-together pole components must then be replaced.
Poles are rotomoulded at the Yarrawonga facility from a food-grade form of polyethylene that also provides greater impact and puncture resistance; combined with ultraviolet radiation stabilisers to provide excellent durability and weatherability in Australia’s sometimes extreme temperature and UV radiation conditions. A fairly wide range of colours are available in these strong, low maintenance Australian products.
